This is hard to believe.
Westboro Baptist Church leaders known for picketiing the funeral of Matthew Shepard, the young college student brutally murdered in Wyoming in 1998, have released a statement regarding the tsunamis which hit Southeast Asia the day after Christmas.
The statement, which was posted on their website Wednesday alongside dozens of other archived "press releases, thanks God for the tsunami and for the death of any gay Swedish vacationers who perished at the time.
Its hard to believe these people consider themselves godly folk.

Anyone who so blatantly derespects someone that way, especially during this tragedy, should not be calling themselves Christians. They dont have to agree with people's lifestyles, but to say what they did is horrible. On behalf of all REAL Christians, I apologize for such ignorance.
